With thousands of products on the market claiming to be natural, clean, or organic, the choices can feel overwhelming. The truth is, most don't meet the standards we hold.
Terms like "natural," "clean," and "dermatologist recommended" are largely unregulated. The EU has banned or restricted over 1,400 cosmetic ingredients. The U.S. has banned around 11.
Many of the most widely recommended skincare brands are manufactured by the same pharmaceutical and multinational corporations that produce over-the-counter drugs. "Dermatologist recommended" often reflects marketing relationships, not ingredient quality. These products frequently contain the same preservatives, synthetic fragrances, and petroleum derivatives we exclude.
When you apply real criteria — no hormone disruptors, no carcinogens, no synthetic fragrance, no petroleum derivatives — the field narrows quickly. We've done the work for you.

The Difference
Why Source Matters
Not all ingredients are created equal. A synthetic version of an ingredient behaves differently on the skin than a naturally derived one. Even products labeled "organic" or "clean" often rely on synthetic versions of familiar ingredients.
Glycolic Acid
Most glycolic acid is synthetic and can trigger inflammation. We use glycolic derived from sugar cane, which allows for effective exfoliation without unnecessary irritation.
Hyaluronic Acid
Most hyaluronic acid — even in "organic" lines — is synthetically produced through bacterial fermentation. The hyaluronic acid in our formulations is sourced from rooster comb, making it biologically identical to what's found in human tissue. This means it's more bioavailable and better recognized by the skin.
The products we use are selected because they meet these standards — not because they're marketed well or widely available. This is what ingredient integrity looks like.
If you have questions about what goes on your skin during a treatment, we're happy to discuss it.
